How do we support an abstinence based system without the religious aspects due to educational system restrictions? We base the teachings on SELF VALUE, and promoting SELF WORTH. Being sexually active before adulthood, which we now understand a child/adolescent’s brain is not completely developed until their late teens to early twenties. Being sexually active means loosing apart of one’s self to an awkwardly, objectified, moment that is followed by regret and emotional loss. This effectively degrades the child’s confidence, social stability, and educational quality. These factors contribute to the statistical impacts on lower income levels, suicide, self harm, emotional issues, anxiety, depression, isolation, rejection issues, drug use, alcohol use and emotional struggles. We further understand the impacts from teen pregnancy and pregnancy scares.
