Churches in the great majority of states are closed. Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne in Tampa Florida and a number of other pastors have been arrested for holding church services in contradiction to “stay at home orders” and meeting bans.
New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio has threatened to permanently close churches that do not obey meeting bans!
Maryland and Washington DC have threatened to arrest those who violate stay at home orders.
Delaware has instructed State Police that they can stop cars with out of state tags without cause.
In Louisville Kentucky, COVID-19 patients are being tracked with the same leg monitors used for inmates on probation.
Yet, there is some ligith in the dark tunnel that has become these United Staes. Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota has refused to issue statewide lockdown orders citing the United States Constitution. Bravo!
Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma and Arkansas are the other states where stay at home orders are not in effect.
The First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America reads:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
It is an outrage that police in Raleigh, North Carolina arrested a protestor, one of many who gathered to protest the unconstitutional lock down in North Carolina.
If a rule, edict or law requires God-given freedoms and freedom of conscience to be sacrificed, it is not for the “greater good”, but rather, evil.
The purpose of the whole, or the “greater good” will always embrace and uplift the individual purpose, not destroy it.
A “greater good” that is not centered on God’s purpose is evil, i.e. Communism. This supposed good purpose actually only serves a ruling elite.
True good is decentralized and relies on the collective good of individuals and families centered on God.
